How can I check if the disease is endemic in a given country?

There are several ways to find out if the disease is endemic in a particular country.

Option 1: Start with a country

 

Go to Explore > Countries and search for the location of interest

For example, in the United States record, you will be able to find all diseases relevant (endemic) to the country along with the latest outbreaks.
 
 
Option 2: Start with disease-specific map
 
Each disease record in GIDEON has an interactive outbreaks and endemicity map.
For instance, in the Plague disease record, you can click on the 'Outbreaks map' button and see this disease's current endemicity status with rates per 100,000 on a global map:
Option 3: Start with disease
 
Navigate to Explore > Diseases and search for disease of interest.
Use "Endemic countries" anchor link to jump to the list of countries where disease is endemic. For example:
